Abutilon 'Smoked Salmon'

Abutilon 'Smoked Salmon' is a broadleaf semi-evergreen shrub with green foliage and salmon flowers in spring, summer, fall and winter. Attractive to bees and hummingbirds. To grow well, it prefers sun - mostly shade and even moisture and regular water. Grows best in well-drained, rich and average soil. This variety also performs very well indoors all year long!

Abutilons are very heat tolerant, making them excellent for summer gardens or containers in the hot sun. Provide winter protection in cooler climates. They thrive in well-drained soil with occasional feedings. Pinch the young leaf stems to encourage more branching. Prune lightly to shape and remove dead stems.
